Pakistan, May 13 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that US-Russia relations remain stagnant despite public optimism about cooperation. He stated that although both sides speak positively about potential engagement, little progress has been achieved. His remarks highlight continuing tensions between Moscow and Washington despite renewed diplomatic contact.

Lavrov noted that discussions about cooperation in technology, energy and other sectors have not produced concrete results.
