Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- Heavy rainfall triggered widespread landslides in India's Uttarakhand state, cutting off 80 villages from nearby areas. The disaster caused major damage and disrupted daily life across the affected region.

According to Indian media, the worst-hit area was Rudraprayag district. Intense rainfall on Thursday triggered multiple landslides, blocking roads and damaging infrastructure.
