Pakistan, July 13 -- Lahore is taking significant steps to combat plastic pollution through strict provincial regulations, innovative waste management solutions and technology-based initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and water resources.

The Punjab government, in collaboration with the Environmental Protection (EPA), is implementing the "Plastic-Free Punjab" campaign to eliminate single-use plastics and promote sustainable waste management practices.
