Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- Lahore's Metro Bus Service could stop operating from August 11 after private operator VEDA issued a final notice to the Punjab Mass Transit Authority. The company cited rising fuel costs, financial pressure and an unresolved dispute over fuel supplies. VEDA operates the 27-kilometre Gajjumata-Shahdara route and says it cannot continue without uninterrupted fuel. The warning has raised concerns among thousands of daily commuters who depend on the service.
