Pakistan, May 11 -- The Lahore High Court has directed the return of Rs7 crore deposited as security by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in connection with the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum heard the petition and approved the request for the refund of the amount submitted as surety. The court issued instructions for the release of the funds after the closure of proceedings in the case.
