Pakistan, June 29 -- Lahore is expected to experience intense heat today and tomorrow, with the Meteorological Department warning that the feels-like temperature could climb between 48degC and 50degC. Rising humidity levels are expected to make conditions significantly hotter than the actual air temperature, increasing discomfort for residents across the city.
Meteorological Department Director Aleemul Hassan said increasing moisture in the atmosphere will prolong the ongoing heatwave through today and tomorrow. He explained that the combination of high temperatures and humidity will make the weather feel much hotter, urging citizens to remain cautious during the peak afternoon hours.
