Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- Pakistan's stock market closed in positive territory on Friday after a volatile trading session. The KSE-100 Index gained 266 points by the end of trading. The index closed at 170,765 points after moving sharply during the session.

Trading began on a positive note at the Pakistan Stock Exchange. As a result, the KSE-100 Index initially gained more than 500 points. The index then crossed the 171,000-point level during early trading.

However, market activity remained mixed as trading progressed throughout the day. The index experienced fluctuations before recovering some ground by the close. Despite the volatility, the market maintained a positive finish.
