Pakistan, July 21 -- At least 12 people died and 18 others were injured during the past 48 hours after heavy rains and flash floods hit parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The severe weather also damaged homes and disrupted affected communities across several districts.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the worst-affected districts included Nowshera, Khyber, Mardan, and Buner. Meanwhile, rain-related incidents were also reported in Bajaur, Chitral, Lower Dir, Hazara Division, Kurram, and North Waziristan.
