Pakistan, July 21 -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly is all set to elect 11 new senators today (Monday) after the recent oath-taking of 25 opposition MPAs on reserved seats. The session, scheduled for 9 AM in Peshawar, marks a key moment in the province's political process as both the government and opposition prepare to cast their votes.

After days of political tension and delays, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi administered the oath to the newly elected opposition MPAs on Sunday. This step completed the provincial assembly, making it possible to hold the Senate elections. Earlier, the session had failed to meet quorum, which stalled the process.
