Pakistan, July 6 -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been presented with details of federal funds received by the province over the past five fiscal years. According to official documents, from fiscal year 2021 to 2025, the province received a total of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa federal funds worth more than Rs34.88 trillion under the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award and War on Terror allocations, while the province's total approved share was even higher.

The documents show that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received Rs31.14 trillion through the NFC Award during the five-year period. In addition, the federal government released Rs3.74 trillion under the War on Terror allocation to support the province's financial and development needs.
