Pakistan, Jan. 9 -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that the country will not tolerate mercenary troops amid nationwide protests. He urged Iranians to stay united. His remarks come as unrest over economic hardship continues to spread across the country.
Khamenei criticized protesters who damage public property, saying some aim to please U.S. President Donald Trump. He added that Trump should focus on his own country's problems. The Supreme Leader emphasized that foreign interference will not be allowed.
