Pakistan, April 30 -- Pakistani golfer Omar Khalid Hussain has become the first player from the country to be named to the NCAA Division I All-Conference Team after finishing third at the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Men's Golf Championship in Illinois according to a press release.

Representing the University of Evansville, Omar secured third place at the championship held at Annbriar Golf Club in Waterloo, Illinois, on Wednesday.

His finish earned him a place on the All-Conference roster, marking a first for a Pakistani golfer in top-tier American collegiate athletics.

He opened the tournament with a seven-under-par 65, the second-lowest round in his university's history, before posting rounds of 72
