Pakistan, Oct. 9 -- KATSEYE has announced that Sophia Laforteza will return to group activities in January 2027 after a five-month break. Her management, HYBE and Geffen Records, confirmed the news on October 8.

The companies said Sophia would rejoin the global girl group during the first week of January. The 23-year-old singer stepped away in August to focus on her mental health and overall well-being. Her return announcement has given fans a timeline for her comeback.
