Pakistan, June 30 -- Pakistan has received another major international honor as it was elected Chair of the 53rd meeting of the United Nations Industrial Development Board (UNIDO). This marks the first time Pakistan holds this important position. Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Kamran Akhtar, officially assumed the role and its responsibilities starting today.
