Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- The judicial commission investigating businessman Mir Raza's killing has rejected his family's request. The family wanted several senior police officers to appear during the proceedings.
Meanwhile, commission chairman Justice Umar Sial issued an order covering the previous day's proceedings. The family had requested appearances by an additional inspector general and two deputy inspectors general.
The requested officers included DIG Amir Farooqi and DIG Farrukh Lanjar. However, Justice Sial said the commission had already clarified the matter on September 17. He said the commission would not personally summon senior police officers.
