Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- Senior associate professors at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) have raised concerns over the reappointment of Dr Nighat Shah and written to the Sindh chief minister and other officials. Dr Nighat Shah reappointment has become a point of concern for several professors who say the decision could affect the promotions of six associate professors awaiting advancement.
Several affected professors at JSMU sent a letter to the Sindh chief minister, Sindh health minister and federal ombudsman. They claimed that the second paragraph of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council's notification issued on May 19 had been ignored.
