Pakistan, June 12 -- Authorities in Jhang have formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to further probe the death case of 17-year-old student Eshal Fatima, marking a significant development in the ongoing investigation.

According to police officials, senior representatives from the Punjab Police and the prosecution department recently held a high-level meeting to review progress in the case before the formation of the JIT. The team will operate under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation and includes multiple senior officers from different police wings.
