Pakistan, June 9 -- Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least six Palestinians on Monday, including a child. The attacks came as Israel expanded its control zone in parts of the territory. The escalation matters as civilian casualties rise amid fragile ceasefire efforts.

According to Gaza health officials, two people were killed in an airstrike near Mawasi in Khan Younis. In northern Gaza, three others, including an eight-year-old boy, died in an attack in Jabalia refugee camp. Medics also reported injuries among people gathered near a well-digging site.
