Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- An Israeli airstrike killed two Palestinians in Gaza on Wednesday, according to local health officials. Medics said the strike hit a vehicle in western Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Two other people also suffered injuries in the attack, they added.

The Israeli military confirmed carrying out the strike, according to a military spokesperson. The spokesperson said the attack targeted a militant in the area. The military said it would provide further details about the incident later.
