Pakistan, July 30 -- An Israeli airstrike destroyed the Al-Muttaqin Mosque in Gaza City, with the Israeli military claiming the site had been used by Hamas as a weapons storage facility. The strike came despite a fragile ceasefire that has remained in place since October 2025 but has failed to end violence in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Israeli military, the operation was part of a series of strikes carried out over the past week targeting what it described as Hamas weapons storage facilities in central and northern Gaza.
