Pakistan, July 31 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz said Israeli forces destroyed a Hezbollah tunnel network in southern Lebanon. They said the operation targeted tunnels allegedly intended for cross-border infiltration into northern Israel.

In a joint statement, the Israeli leaders said the tunnels in the Beaufort area were demolished using around 700 tons of explosives. They described the operation as part of Israel's ongoing campaign against Hezbollah's military infrastructure.
