Pakistan, Oct. 10 -- Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, spokesperson for Pakistan Army, emphasized respect for all politicians but stressed no politics stands above the state. Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar, he said security forces are filling governance gaps in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with great sacrifice. He accused a political and criminal nexus behind the ongoing terrorism in the region. He urged politicians not to involve the military in political disputes and avoid misleading propaganda.
