Islamabad, Aug. 29 -- Islamabad is moving toward becoming a cleaner, safer and better-planned capital as authorities continue a major crackdown on illegal encroachments across the city.
The campaign is being carried out under a zero-tolerance policy led by Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. Its main goal is to recover public land and government properties, restore civic order and improve the overall environment of the federal capital.
The drive is also focused on making Islamabad greener, more sustainable, safer and more attractive for residents, visitors and investors.
