Pakistan, Sept. 14 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Sunday met AIG Operations Hamza Humayun and reviewed police operations, security arrangements and measures for the protection of citizens in the federal capital.

An official told APP on Sunday that the meeting focused on matters related to police operations and security arrangements, besides measures being taken to ensure the safety of citizens.

The meeting also discussed ways to maintain effective policing and strengthen security measures across Islamabad.

IGP Rizvi stressed that protection of citizens and effective security arrangements should remain a priority in police operations.
