Pakistan, Sept. 19 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has ordered an inquiry into alleged irregularities in the Foreign Ministry's apostille and document attestation system. Dar took notice of a report and formed a three-member inquiry committee. The system is widely used for educational, legal and immigration documents in Pakistan and abroad.

According to a notification, Petroleum Secretary Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh will head the inquiry committee. Law Secretary Raja Naeem Akbar and Special Secretary Finance Qumar Sarwar Abbasi will serve as members.
