Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira spoke with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar by telephone on Thursday. They discussed regional and international developments and matters of mutual interest.
According to Pakistan's Foreign Office, Vieira praised Pakistan's constructive role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran. He stressed the importance of negotiations and diplomacy for global peace and security.
The Brazilian foreign minister also congratulated Ishaq Dar on the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. The two officials discussed developments affecting regional and international security.
