Islamabad, June 23 -- Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Tuesday for a state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in key sectors.

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and marks Dr Pezeshkian's second trip to Pakistan since assuming office as Iran's president.

The Iranian leader will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers and senior government officials. During his stay, he is expected to hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues.
