Pakistan, May 4 -- Iran has issued a warning to the United States (US), saying any interference in the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a violation of the existing ceasefire arrangement.

The statement was made by Iran's National Security Council chief Ebrahim Azizi in response to recent remarks by US President Donald Trump regarding plans to facilitate the movement of vessels stranded in the strategically important waterway.
