Pakistan, Feb. 8 -- Iran warned on Saturday that it would strike US military bases in the Middle East if Washington launches an attack. Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said any response would target US forces only. He stressed Iran would not attack countries hosting American bases.

Araqchi made the remarks during an interview with Qatar's Al Jazeera television. His comments came after Iran and the United States agreed to continue indirect nuclear talks. The latest discussions were held in Oman and were described as positive by both sides.
