Pakistan, May 13 -- Iran military says no country will be allowed to transport US weapons through the Strait of Hormuz. It warns of major maritime security implications. The statement could affect regional shipping routes and US allied logistics in the Gulf.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia made the remarks during a briefing in Mashhad. He said Iran monitors the Strait through coordinated IRGC and navy forces.

He said IRGC controls the western sector while the Iranian navy oversees eastern waters. He claimed coordinated control strengthens surveillance and regional influence across the strait. He added it could generate revenue exceeding Iran's oil income.
