Pakistan, Aug. 22 -- Iran has warned that any act of aggression will trigger an immediate and broader military response. The warning comes as Tehran signals changes in its military doctrine.

Iranian army spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said the response would exceed the scale of any aggression. Al Jazeera reported his remarks.
