Pakistan, Feb. 6 -- Iran and the United States are holding high-stakes negotiations in Oman today. The talks aim to address Iran's nuclear programme. However, deep mistrust and growing war fears dominate the diplomatic atmosphere.
Washington wants broader discussions beyond nuclear issues. These include Iran's missile programme, regional armed groups, and human rights concerns. In contrast, Tehran insists talks remain strictly focused on nuclear matters only.
