Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- Iran has urged countries to reject the implementation of US sanctions against Tehran. The Foreign Ministry called on governments to avoid enforcing Washington's latest economic measures. Tehran said compliance would support policies it considers unlawful against sovereign states.
In a statement issued Friday, Iran's Foreign Ministry said countries should not implement the sanctions. It argued that enforcing the measures would make participating governments complicit. Tehran also criticised the latest US restrictions as illegal.
