Pakistan, Jan. 31 -- Former IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei warned that US threats against Iran echo pre-Iraq war warnings. He said Iran poses no immediate danger. ElBaradei called the threats unlawful, reckless, and dangerous for the region.
He criticized the timing of the warnings, noting Iran has not demonstrated any active or imminent military threat. He stressed unilateral threats violate international law and global norms.
