Pakistan, Aug. 16 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the country's economic problems have worsened since the war with the United States and Israel began. Pezeshkian attributed rising prices to declining oil sales, higher costs and reduced government revenues during the conflict.

Speaking in remarks carried by Iranian media, he said falling oil revenues had placed additional pressure on the government's finances. He said imported goods were increasingly entering Iran through alternative routes instead of previously used direct channels.
