Pakistan, Aug. 17 -- Iran has rejected claims that a 60-day deadline was set under its memorandum (MoU) with the United States (US). Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei made the statement on Monday. He said the agreement only created a 60-day window for negotiations. Those talks focused on sanctions relief and the nuclear issue. Baqaei said the period could also be extended if negotiations produced no result.
