Pakistan, July 13 -- Iran said on Monday it is continuing discussions with Pakistan, Qatar, and Oman to prevent further escalation in its conflict with the United States. Tehran said the mediators are working to reduce tensions and encourage diplomatic engagement. The efforts come as renewed military exchanges threaten regional stability and global economic confidence.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said the role of the mediating countries is to continue efforts aimed at preventing a wider conflict. He stressed that diplomatic channels remain active despite the recent escalation. Pakistan, Qatar, and Oman have all maintained contacts with the parties in support of de-escalation.
