Pakistan, July 17 -- Iran launched fresh attacks on United States (US) military facilities in the Gulf on Friday after a sixth consecutive night of American strikes on Iranian military targets, marking another sharp escalation in the conflict and further undermining last month's ceasefire agreement.

According to the US Central Command, American fighter jets, drones and warships carried out precision strikes on military sites across Iran, including Qeshm Island and areas near Bandar Abbas, home to Iran's largest commercial port and key naval and Revolutionary Guard installations.
