Pakistan, June 29 -- Iran and Oman have held discussions on the management of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz as uncertainty continues over the future of nuclear-related talks between Tehran and Washington.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said on Monday that no technical meetings with the United States are scheduled in the coming days, indicating a pause in efforts to implement previous understandings between the two countries.
