Pakistan, July 27 -- India summoned Ukraine's ambassador on Monday after a deadly attack on a commercial vessel in the Black Sea. The strike killed one Indian national and prompted New Delhi to condemn attacks on civilian shipping. The move reflects growing concern over the safety of Indian seafarers.

According to India's foreign ministry, Ambassador Oleksandr Polishchuk was called to convey New Delhi's serious concern. The ministry said the July 18 attack targeted the MV Omforfi carrying three Indian nationals. One of the crew members was killed.
