Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan's lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar has submitted written arguments challenging an Adiala Jail report concerning Khan and Bushra Bibi's alleged solitary confinement. Safdar called the report misleading and inconsistent with the facts presented before the court.
Safdar asked the court to appoint a judicial assistant, local commission or amicus curiae to independently examine the prisoners' conditions. He proposed that the commission meet Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, inspect relevant records and facilities, and submit an assessment to the court.
