Pakistan, July 12 -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will provide Pakistan an additional $3.6 billion over the next 14 months under its ongoing financial assistance programmes, according to official documents.
The documents stated that the combined value of the IMF's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) programmes stands at $8.4 billion, out of which $4.8 billion has already been disbursed to Pakistan.
According to the documents, the remaining $3.6 billion will be released during the next 14 months. The next economic review under both programmes is expected to take place in September, while an IMF mission may visit Pakistan for the fourth review.
