Pakistan, Oct. 7 -- An Islamabad anti-terrorism court (ATC) formally indicted lawyers Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha on Tuesday. The case involves allegations of disrupting an international cricket team's security route and inciting public unrest.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra conducted the hearing, with both accused appearing through video link. Hadi objected to the indictment and said he had not received copies of the case documents.
Their lawyer, Zainab Janjua, also opposed the charges. She said neither accused had received the case record or allowed to meet their lawyers. She argued that legal requirements for framing charges had therefore not completed.
