ISLAMABAD, Aug. 31 -- The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday sought responses from the federal government and regulatory bodies on a petition seeking social media restrictions for children under 16. Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar heard the case and issued notices to several ministries and authorities. The notices were sent to the ministries of Information Technology, Information, Interior and Law. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) also received notices.
