Pakistan, Aug. 18 -- The Islamabad High Court directed police to recover a seven-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted from the jurisdiction of Golra Police Station six months ago, within 15 days.

Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro issued the order while hearing a petition seeking the recovery of the missing child. During the hearing, the investigating officer appeared before the court, while the girl's father, Muhammad Abid, addressed the bench and became emotional while describing his ordeal.

He told the court that six months had passed since his daughter was abducted and alleged that he had received no support in his efforts to recover her. "My only hope is this court," the father said while pleading for assistance.
