Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Islamabad High Court (IHC) has restrained authorities from harassing a petitioner and his family in a dispute over the transfer of 217 kanals and 12 marlas of inherited land in Islamabad's Mohra Noor area, while summoning the deputy commissioner and the Shalimar police station SHO in their personal capacity. Justice Muhammad Azam Khan issued a two-page written order after hearing a petition filed through Advocate Ibad Abbasi. According to the order, the petitioner alleged that he and his family were being harassed in an attempt to illegally transfer their inherited property. He requested the court to restrain the respondents from transferring the land and to initiate disciplinary proceedings against those responsible. ...
