Pakistan, July 25 -- Member states of the International Criminal Court (ICC) have voted to remove Prosecutor Karim Khan following allegations of sexual misconduct, marking a significant leadership change at the world's permanent war crimes tribunal.

During a vote held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, 82 of the ICC's 125 member states supported Khan's dismissal. The decision follows recommendations from the court's oversight body, which concluded last month that the British barrister had engaged in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a junior ICC lawyer.
