Pakistan, Aug. 16 -- Ian Crafford, the British film editor whose four-decade career spanned Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Never Say Never Again, Hope and Glory and Field of Dreams, has died at 82.

He passed away on July 22 at his home in Brazil after a long battle with cancer, his son Scott Crafford told The Hollywood Reporter. Crafford's editing credits also included Tommy Chong's Still Smokin, Frank Oz's The Indian in the Cupboard and David Anspaugh's The Game of Their Lives, along with two collaborations with fellow British filmmaker Michael Apted, Class Action and Thunderheart.
