Pakistan, Aug. 17 -- Yemen's Houthis claimed they attacked a Saudi military ship and four escort vessels near Mocha. The group said it used missiles in the Red Sea attack.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced the attack on Monday through Telegram. Saudi authorities had not immediately confirmed the reported attack.

Mocha is a Red Sea port near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The strategic waterway connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden.

Meanwhile, two Yemeni government sources said a ship was attacked with six missiles. They said the vessel had remained out of service for more than a year.
