Pakistan, Nov. 3 -- Punjab Women Protection Authority Chairperson Hina Pervaiz Butt has invited Pakistani actress Hina Altaf to visit Lahore after the actress described Karachi as a "jail" for women, saying that females cannot enjoy freedom in the city.

A few days ago, Hina Altaf recorded a video while walking on the streets of London, in which she spoke about the difficulties women face in Karachi. In the video, the actress said she wanted to enjoy her last breakfast in London before catching a flight to Karachi, as she would then have to return to what she described as a "jail" in Karachi.

She said women could not live freely in Karachi and that even walking on the streets had become difficult for them.
